Client Error

Featured Replies

Good day,

Looking for some help please. I get the following error when I try and run OpusClient on a client machine, the server version works perfectly on my FSX machine. The client is running Windows 7 Pro 32bit SP1.

I have setup all the shares and permissions according to the network manual and can move files between the client and the server and visa versa.

I have checked in the registery and DotNet 2,3 and 4 are installed (Checked this way as suggested on Microsoft site)

As I will only be using weather on the client I have not setup FSUIPC or FSX on the client.

Many thanks

Mark

Can you confirm you have installed OpusFSX on your client computer say in c:\OpusFSX and are starting the FSXCLIENT.exe program in its own folder.

Stephen

And that you have downloaded and have installed the latest release version 3.21 on both your server and client systems.

Your dotnetfx may be installed but may not be installed correctly, have you tried reinstalling it.

Ok.

Install the latest release version 3.21 on both your server and client systems.

On your client system navigate to your OpusFSX installation folder and run the SimConnect.msi installation to install the SimConnect libraries.

Then restart your client.

Now the FSXCLIENT program should run without error.
