August 11, 201312 yr Hello, I just wanted to fly from Berlin to Zurich only to find out that my Saiteks Throttle quadrant is spiking again . At least i know how to open up the units and how to clean the pots, resolving the issue for another month or so. Im fed up with the poor quality. So its time to move on to another product and i saw the GF-TQ6-ADV Advanced Throttle Quadrant from Go Flight. Has anybody experience with this unit? Im trying to find deeply covered reviews but i cant find anything on google. The main part i would like to know is the inside build of the unit. Does the unit have pots (eventually all pots wear out), or does it have magnetics? If it has pots, is it easy to reach them and clean them? (Got two saitek throttle quadrants and to clean all pots which are six all together takes me about an hour).
