Full flight and situation saving

Hello everyone!

Although normally only questions are asked here, I come up with an answer...

For folks who want to make a really 100%-situation-reproduction (for a longer term break) I yesterday tried a simple trick:

I paused FSX (by pressing "p"), exited full screen mode, minimized FSX, (waited a while for sufficient post cooling), from WIN7 chose hibernation.

My Laptop entered hibernation... On "wake up" everything was as before:

I maximized FSX, set full screen mode and on pressing "p" the GSX catering guys kept on walking on their lorry ramps.

This is the best level of fsx-state-reproduction I have ever accomplished.

I hope you can make use of it for your flight interruptions enabling "PC hibernation".

Greetings,

Claus

P.S.: I have only tried it with the PMDG 737 NGX, but it might also be of great use for the B777 on long hauls...
