August 12, 201312 yr http://pcpartpicker.com/user/snowdude/saved/27CX Total: $1452.90 My first time building a PC, I have experience with PC's over 10 years as an advanced user but I've never actually put one together from scratch. I live overseas, in Hong Kong. Are there any recommended PC parts suppliers that ship internationally? Comments/ input/suggestions on component choices most welcome. I will be using the PC for Flight Simulator X, running on max settings (1920x1080) with add-ons. I plan on overclocking the CPU to 4.2Ghz+, is the case and cooler good enough? Finally, should I change the thermal paste on the CPU to Coollaboratory? Is there anyplace that I can buy the CPU with the new thermal paste? August 12, 201312 yr Looks near perfect ... consider the Corsair Hydro Series H100i cooler instead of the Noctura (which is an awesome cooler in its own right ... the H100i just takes up much less room in the case and has less negative interactions with RAM). If you stay with the Noctua make sure you go to their site and make sure the RAM is certified to work with it. I used Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM and I was not able to run the Noctua because of it. Make sure you read the thread about the Coollaboratory Liquid Pro ... it is an awesome TIM. Enjoy your build ... it will be worth it.
