FS2002 airport in FS2004

HiI am trying to put a FS2002 RAF Scampton add-on airport in FS2004 for which there are no instructions. There was a 'scampton' folder with scenery and texture subfolders in it. I have put this in the 'addon scenery' folder in FS9 and I have activated it. It is all there in the sim, but there are some buildings with blank textures. There was an additional 'airport scenery' folder in the download with .oav files in it. I can't quite figure where this should go!Any help greatfully received.RegardsGraeme

I believe that the OAV files should go in FS/Texture- this is from the Scampton readme"Copy the generic Airport textures to your main FS2002texture folder but since they are used by many freeware sceneries, you may have them already."It is possible that the blank textures may be ones that were "native"(default textures within FS) to FS2002 and not present in FS2004. Another possibilty is that you may need something like the Nova textures installed to use the scenery.Dave

excellent thanks, I'm off to find 'Nova textures' as they sound interesting even if it's not the problem.RegardsGraeme

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, Graeme.Firstly, there ARE instructions with John Young's FS2002 Scampton. Have you mislaid them? You could always download the original again.Secondly, he has updated this scenery for FS2004. I suggest you revisit this accordingly! All files are in the library.Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontSee my own 'Reds' stuff at www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg
