November 4, 200421 yr On the new features for FS2004 it says something about a colour map...Is this the map that I can recall from FS2000 (or am i not recalling rightly?)Does FS2002 have this map? It only has a flight planner map and GPS, right?I don't own FS2004 yet so I thought I'd ask...
November 4, 200421 yr FS2004 offers a color, terrain shaded map in at least three areas--the gps, the weather screen, and the map. The gps one is rather nice for flying at night when you want an idea of the terrain below... -John
November 4, 200421 yr Hi,In FS2002, go to World/Map... You will see a black and white map. In FS2004 this is in color (colors indicate height of terrain, blue = oceans), along with ATC boundaries around airports, etc.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
November 5, 200421 yr Yes, in FS2000 they had a colour map too....But for some reason they passed on this in FS2002 as well as the Concorde!Bring back the Concorde! What else can they do? Add Airbus A340 and A380 in next edition? An airbus VC would be nice.
