Need a replacement mobo for fsx p3d

Recommended Posts

Well i cant believe i have to do this but my MB died yesterday. I have an ASUS Maximus IV Extreme z board ,2700k ,2400 memory, 780 graphics card 580 graphics card All graphic slots are dead except for number 1

The board will not even respond to any over clock.

This is all weird because the board was stable for 2 years at 4.5

So i have isolated the issue as a motherboard issue as all other items work on my second computer

nbsp;

So now i have a bunch of stuff and i need a new MB and CPU

If you we buying a new board and cpu what would it be

I want to use the memory, graphics cards ssd's so i can set up my fsx and p3d install again

If money was not an object and you were to get the best performance from an over clock what

Mother board and cpu would you go for given todays options.

By the way I like asus products ( even though mine failed )

Peter
