KPDX RWY 28L ILS

Featured Replies

Gents, I made an approach to 28L at KPDX in foggy conditions in my PMDG 737-900 this am and all was going well until I broke out of the clouds and saw that despite my gs and loc bars being dead center I was lined up on the taxiway to the right of the runway. Has anyone else seen this and if so is there a correction for it. I am using FSGenesis' terrainmesh and that is all. I have a clean copy of FS2004 with the 9.1 update. Ken

Hi, this bug was present with FS2002 as well I think, back then a fix was available. Could well be that it works in FS9, too.

I tried your link and from what I saw it is a fix for FS2K2. Will this work on FS2004 also? Ken

I answered my own question. Did a search on avsim.com and got the Afcad file for 2k4 and will install it. Thanks for your help. Ken

Hi, I saw this too late, sorry! :-)It may be worth a try, I search for the file right now.Do a search for KPDX 28L in the forum, there comes up quite a bit.

>Teamwork at its best!>>Problem fixed in 20 minutes. :-) AFCAD2's Fantastic ! Ive been using it almost every day... Before flying to any new field, I always search to see if there is an AFCAD for it. Checking ProjectAI first, as theirs are set up for Gate assignments.... Then flightsim.com. If I dont find one, then load AFCAD, to check to see how many parking areas there are. 90% do not have enough, so I can add a bunch, save it and go fly. Bob
