September 8, 201312 yr Hello all! About 3 hours ago I exited FSX after some traffic patterns at VHHH, went back to fly a flight on ivao and I noticed that the area around Arlanda (ESSA) was black... I Went to another airport to see if it still was there, and it was. So I did some research and I found out that if I were to move north,so will the black textures vice versa for south, west, east etc.. (Something about LOD radius) http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/topic/186002-fsx-ground-textures-are-black-help/ I'm using this thread as a screenshot and explanation because that is exactly my problem. I have updated my drivers to the latest. And the OP in the thread solved it by adding a missing detail1.bmp file. I made a a search in the main FSX folder 'detail1.bmp' and found dozens of them so that can't be the problem. (Or could it  ) Now,if you could help me out here I'd be very thankful...I don't want to fly without admiring the sceenery :( (OS:Windows 8. Searched on Avsim aswell, didn't find any topics about it) Delete this please, multiple topics created. Sorry! Lucas Hollsten

There should only be one "detail1.bmp" file inte the folder ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Texture Please confirm that you do have this file in that folder.
September 8, 201312 yr Author There should only be one "detail1.bmp" file inte the folder ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Texture Please confirm that you do have this file in that folder. There is no detail1.bmp in that folder, only in ORBX folders and other add-on sceneries. I shall download the file and see if works! EDIT: It works!! Thank you! No idea how it got lost in the dark But i'm glad it's all good Lucas Hollsten
