Taxiing issue

Featured Replies

Hello simmers,

I am not sure if anyone is experiencing this but when I first start my taxi with a TW normally varying from about 450,000 and 480,000 lbs depending on my flight, applying thrust of around 25% N1 will get the plane rolling quite easily, but as soon as I apply some brake pressure during a turn or something, the aircraft becomes heavier and the same thrust setting wouldn't move it as it used to which requires putting more engine power reaching to about 28% or 29% N1 to be able to reach the same normal taxi speed. After a few times I had the idea of trying to change the autobrake setting from RTO to OFF while the aircraft was moving and it solved the problem! I don't get the red "brake" message at the bottom of the screen nor my brakes get hot by the time I reach the RWY holding line. What could be causing this and how do you think I could solve it?

Many thanks for your help!
