Dx 10 Fixer from Steve on fresh Install question

Featured Replies

Sorry to start a thread here, but my question was overflooded by others posting in the other thread and nobody seems to saw my message.

Here is a couple of question :

  • May be its a stupid question, but, should I install the fixer after or before others addons on fresh install ?
  • And what if after that for next purchase and install ? (question base on the fact that there is no need for AddonConvertX, so what's up for futur install of scenery not really DX10 compatible?)

Thanks and sorry for my English.

Michel

Hi Michel - It really doesn't matter, but I would install it first, right after FSX (SP2 or acceleration), nad then install your, say Orbx PNW, Aerosoft Munich, or whtever, restert the pc, start FSX and test that all is well - then on to the next addon.

For new addons - there is a section showing how to do this on p. 35 of the manual. OK!

All the Best,

pj

Thank you very much sir,

I purchased the FIxer, but I still wait for my new mobo and I will be ready for a fresh install next week. So, I don't installed yet the product and then do not have access to the manual (sorry for the question answered in it).
