I used the VFR approach mode by selecting the runway (not a LOC or ILS) and then selected VFR approach from the DEP/APR page.  It creates a fix at about 8 miles from the runway.  I did this at both KSAN and KLAX.  What was stange is the the course flown by the AP (LNAV and VNAV) was offset from the runway at about 5 to 10 degrees to the right.  This happened at both airports.  However the ND looks good with the centerline extended from the runway properly.

 

Anybody else see this behaviour and is there something I might be doing wrong?

I tried the same VFR approach at Houston.  t worked fine so I am assuming KSAN and KLAX have scenery problems?
