New Corsair k70 mechanical keyboard broken ?

Hi everyone!

Just got my new monster PC 2 days ago and bought the k70 keyboard with it. Everything worked without problems. Last night when I went to bed I pulled the power connected to the psu because there is a green light on my Asus Sabertooth z87 that is always on when the computer got power connected to it. I changed my mind and put the cable back to the psu and switched the power button off instead. However, there was a lightning bolt between the cable and the psu is this normal ?

The next day (today) I started the computer and went to the kitchen, when I got back I noticed my h100i was blinking red (warning for overheat) and I restarted the computer. When booting up the led was white as usually, the CPU temps were ok even after stress test (is 70c normal on full load at stock speed)

I noticed that the keyboard was not lit up and didn't respond at all. I plugged the k70 to another pc and no response there either. Because I was in the kitchen I saw no error messages. Can anyone help me before I send the keyboard back?
