Thanks! Sorry for posting this but I was not really sure what to look for here on avsim. EmilvK

Hi everyone, apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this. When I got home from vacation and loaded up P3D, excited to fly my A2A Cherokee, I saw something I didn't want to see. Huge pieces were missing from the ground! All over the globe! I have reinstalled P3D but I still have the same problem. I'm using a GTX titan with 340.52 drivers. When I installed the drivers I got a random BSOD so I had to installed the drivers again. I don't think that's the problem though since P3D is my only problem. All other games etc work just fine. I wish I knew how to attach a picture, any ideas ? It's kinda difficult to explain what it looks like. Thanks, EmilvK

This Variant Is Not Installed Livery Manager
EmilvK replied to EmilvK's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Hi, I have tried installing both 3rd party and official liveries bot non works. I just discovered that in OC I can only access the product page of the 777, NGX and JS41 so I can't download any livery! This is really weird. I will try a reinstall and see if anything happens. Thanks, EmilvK -
Hi, I have been flying the NGX since launch without any problem until now. I want to install liveries on my freshly installed FSX but I can't choose a variant (600-900). Since I can't choose a variant I get the error "This variant is not installed". I do run the livery manager as admin. I might also point out that the defualt directory is where my P3Dv2 was installed which is strange, because I uninstalled P3D this morning due to a problem. So in a simple form i have to point to the FSX directory by myself but it still doesn't work. I have also tried the Flight1 Registry tool. Thanks, EmilvK

IMO 90+30$ for a 777-300 is "money grabbing" I will probably get s@!% from the lovely avsim community for saying my opinion, and sorry for not having a signature above... EmilvK

Nvidia Inspector FPS limiter makes FSX flicker
EmilvK replied to EmilvK's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
I set the vertical sync to 1/4 of the refresh rate which is 36 FPS, Now I sit at Flightbeam KIAD in the NGX cockpit with 34 FPS Thank you all for your help. EmilvK I used Nick's guide and did exactly what is said. I even tried and only use the FPS limiter to 35 fps but still flickering. The flickering was not on objects but the whole screen making about 2 flashes after cycling views. I don't have DX10 but as I said it works now when I set refresh rate to 1/4. EmilvK -

Nvidia Inspector FPS limiter makes FSX flicker
EmilvK replied to EmilvK's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Do you mean 1/2 refresh rate of the monitor ? Because that would be 72 fps since I use a 144 hz screen, and also the internal fps limiter kinda sucks so could you please explain a bit more specific ? Thanks, EmilvK -

Nvidia Inspector FPS limiter makes FSX flicker
EmilvK replied to EmilvK's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
I did exactly what you said, now I tested more aircrafts than the NGX and it seems to be a PMDG problem.... I tested the PMDG 777, NGX, Coolsky dc-9, Leonardo MD-80, Milviz 737 and the Aerosoft Airbus X but no flickering so it's definitely a PMDG conflict. A bit annoying :( Thanks, EmilvK -
Hi everyone, I have been playing around with the Nvidia Inspector for FSX, however when I lock FPS to 35 I get around 2,3 flickers when changing views in FSX which is really annoying.... Any help would be great. BTW I have a brand new FSX.CFG EmilvK

Now that I checked I get really good FPS, around 50+ at defualt ESSA hehe, however it is extremely stuttery which is annoying, what do you think I should do? Lower the FPS on the displays or Higher ? EmilvK

Thank you, but I don't use Nvidia inspector for FSX.. Emilvk

Hello, I have owned the blackbox a330 for a few months now and I'm rather happy with it. In a review that I read they stated that the FPS was good, however I get lower FPS than in the NGX and a lot of stutters. For those with good FPS, what settings do you use on the displays etc? Thanks EmilvK

Hi everyone! Just got my new monster PC 2 days ago and bought the k70 keyboard with it. Everything worked without problems. Last night when I went to bed I pulled the power connected to the psu because there is a green light on my Asus Sabertooth z87 that is always on when the computer got power connected to it. I changed my mind and put the cable back to the psu and switched the power button off instead. However, there was a lightning bolt between the cable and the psu is this normal ? The next day (today) I started the computer and went to the kitchen, when I got back I noticed my h100i was blinking red (warning for overheat) and I restarted the computer. When booting up the led was white as usually, the CPU temps were ok even after stress test (is 70c normal on full load at stock speed) I noticed that the keyboard was not lit up and didn't respond at all. I plugged the k70 to another pc and no response there either. Because I was in the kitchen I saw no error messages. Can anyone help me before I send the keyboard back? EmilvK
