This Variant Is Not Installed Livery Manager

Featured Replies

Hi, I have been flying the NGX since launch without any problem until now.

I want to install liveries on my freshly installed FSX but I can't choose a variant (600-900).

Since I can't choose a variant I get the error "This variant is not installed". I do run the livery manager as admin.

I might also point out that the defualt directory is where my P3Dv2 was installed which is strange, because I uninstalled P3D this morning due to a problem. So in a simple form i have to point to the FSX directory by myself but it still doesn't work. I have also tried the Flight1 Registry tool.

Thanks,

Are you trying to install PMDG liveries or third party liveries? I am not at a computer with FSX right now, but I believe PMDG liveries are install using the OC and third party liveries using the Livery Manager.

Hi, I have tried installing both 3rd party and official liveries bot non works. I just discovered that in OC I can only access the product page of the 777, NGX and JS41 so I can't download any livery! This is really weird. I will try a reinstall and see if anything happens.

Thanks,

EmilvK
