December 5, 200421 yr I just set up my new computer and it is considerably faster than what I have been using (P4 3.6ghz, Radeon 800XT PE, 1024MB). I've always used the rocker switch on my PFC yoke for elevator trim with the "repeat" feature halfway up in the "controls/assignments". I find with the faster computer, though, that the switch is way too sensitive. It is almost impossible to use without doing away with "repeat" but then I have to click the switch over and over, which doesn't work well. Is there a way to slow it down, perhaps using FSUIPC? Thanks!David
December 5, 200421 yr Hi,A possible solution might be to experiment with the 'elevator_trim_effectiveness=1.0' setting in the {flight tuning} section each aircraft.cfg Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
December 5, 200421 yr I believe that there is a way to slow that down. Look in your Options > Assignments screen and find the section for rudder trim up and rudder trim down. Look way over by the right-hand margin and I think that there is a slider that controls the repeat action. I've always set it to max and my config entries for trim look like this:BUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_10=ELEV_TRIM_DNBUTTON_DOWN_REPEAT_10=1BUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_11=ELEV_TRIM_UPBUTTON_DOWN_REPEAT_11=1I think that the slider changes the BUTTON_DOWN_REPEAT value to a number other than 1. Check it out. R-
