Feelthere, wow it's pretty good!

I just wanted to jump on quickly and give my opinion, sorry if this is redundant.I'm very picky with payware, up until now I've really only spent time with two packages; pmdg 737 and the F1 ATR. This ERJ might just be my new airplane of choice. It's simply beautiful and the FDE seems excellent. The gauges run very smooth and look great. I haven't done much with the FMS yet as it looks a little intimidating. Now that I've given some top side pros, here's the story on MY performance. My system is:AMD 3200 gig of DDR4006800gtThis ERJ REALLY sucks down the frames. I've turned of the panel AA, it's not that big of a deal imo and increased my zoom, it's definetly flyable. Basically my frames are in the mid 20s which may seem good, but the ATR with the same set-up gives me up to 40 frames. With AI and heavy weather I'm into the upper teens. The good news is that it's smooth, I can't report the fps cycling that I read about over at Feelthere's forum. Even at 18 fps it's fairly smooth. I tried the ATR with the same set-up locked at 18 frames and it was not as smooth.Anyway, hopefully Feelthere will squeeze out a little more performance with an update. It seems like they could give some control over gauge refresh rates. That made a huge difference on the ATR. Not every gauge on that panel needs to be running at full speed, IMO of course, just seems like a quick way to free up some frames for add-ons. Hope this was helpful.Btw, I'm having trouble with thrust setting as it applies to my joystick throttle wheel. When I push the wheel to the top I'm not getting mx thrust on any airplane. I've tried calibrating it and it's showing full range of motion in the cal. screen. It's really extending my t/o rolls. Thanks for any help.

Thrust is limited by the FADEC based on T/O data selected, and data entered into the FMS.Again, like with the ATR, the FMS is not in any way Boeing/Airbus like. It isn't overly complicated, but, it will take some time playing with it to see what it is capable of.I have to admit, a refresh rate slider or some-such would be nice.

Brian Doney

Flying in the mid-twenties sounds more than reasonable.
