Creating a clickable window panel

Featured Replies

I have been using the Feelthere ERJ of late and really enjoy flying it. I love the functionality of the panels and such.

However I have an idea and wonder if anyone here can point me in the right direction.

I like to move the main panel displays over to a second monitor in front of my yoke and use the main display just for a forward look out windshield. It works out great that way, and at least gives me a feel of reality. That setup, coupled with my GoFLight panel stack, makes it so I rarely have to click on the virtual panel.

However, when I undock the displays, I don't get the panel frame or the bezel buttons underneath the MCP, which are used to select t/o info, route info, etc.; I have to go back to the virtual cockpit panel to change the display.

Is there a way to create an undockable window which contains the bezel buttons that I could place under the MCP screen on the second monitor? I hope Ive explained myself well enough as to what Im looking for.

Would an addon such as Panel Studio help me do such a thing?

Again, Im open to any suggestions. It's not a life-or-death thing, just needed a little project to work on.

Thanks in advance.
