December 9, 200421 yr Hi!I tried Adrian Esdaile's Boomerang (rutan_boomerang.zip). It has an Apollo SL30 radio. I was able to set the ADF frequency as expected with the knobs on the right, but the same approach simply did not work for the Comm or Nav frequencies. Neither could I find any other way to set them.I can't help feeling I am being really stupid, but is there something I am missing?regards,Alan
December 11, 200421 yr No, there is something I missed!I made an mistake in my final version of the aircraft.cfg file, which screwed up the radios. I didn't find out till after I uploaded it.You will need to edit the Boomerang's aircraft.cfg file, located in the /Aircraft/Rutan_Boomerang folder.Open the file in Notepad, and find the [Radios] section.Change it to look like this:The radios section should look likethis:[Radios]// Radio Type = availiable, standby frequency, has glideslopeAudio.1=1 Com.1=1, 0Com.2=1, 0Nav.1=1, 0, 1Nav.2=1, 0, 0Adf.1=1Transponder.1=1 Marker.1=1 That should fix the SL30 not working.Cheers,
December 12, 200421 yr Thanks for the information. That did the trick. Thanks also for the huge effort you must have put into the Boomerang. I had been looking for one for a while.regards,Alan.
