December 15, 200421 yr Commercial Member Fellow Column Yoke users,What are your seting for your yoke whether it be within FS or FSUIPC. I am trying to get centering for the aileron axis tweaked abit better.Questions or comments would be appreciatedThanksKroswynd KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. December 15, 200421 yr Commercial Member I guess there aren't many PFC column yoke or Cirrus yoke users out there. Great investment if you have the extra cash to burn.Kroswynd KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. December 17, 200421 yr Hi Kroswynd,I have the PFC Cirrus yoke. My null zone settings for ailerons are default. They recommend plus and minus six at the center, if memory recalls. What I do is let the the default nulls remain after automatic calibration, then I set the end limits at maximum in manuel calibration, then I add about one or two clicks on the response curves. I set elevator curve a little bit more. If a plane feels out of whack then I goto the aircraft.cfg and start to adjust tuning.Too much on the response curve will get my arms tired of the heavy pulls before trim kicks in. I've even tried it with no null. I've found to get hands off does require some null, less sensitivity and a good flight model. This general setup works good for all aircraft, then to get a different feel between aircraft I'll set aileron & elevator effectiveness up or down as needed to get the aircraft slightly heavy but responsive.Anyway I hope this helps, If you want specific numbers let me know...Rex
December 18, 200421 yr Commercial Member Rex thanks for the reply....it is greatly appreciated. I was beginning to think that not many guys are into PFC equipment. Will give it a try and let u know.Kroswynd KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. December 18, 200421 yr I have the PFC Baron style yolk and multi engine throttle quad. The hardware is bullet proof and the software a snap. PFC is the best by far, at what they make. But you gotta save your pennies!(:Jim
December 18, 200421 yr I just use the auto settings for pitch and roll on my CirrusII Beech yoke setup. It's the best feeling and handling setup out there. The sounds I get when I sync the rpm's on the FFS King Air are great! I am saving up for this next.http://www.cpflight.com/sito/prodotti.asp I plan on getting the complete radio package from them. The PFC 737 MCP is $4000 alone! I will go with CPFlight.
