In the ngx the ILS approach was working fine I understand I need the ILS frequency for the runway and all that but really can't get it to function on the 777 and capture the glide scope for a automated landing. I know I annoyed a vatsim atc the other day because I couldn't get lined up and he got really annoyed about it which I do understand any help would be great. Like what buttons I should be pressing.

Hi Rob,

 

the button is APP under LOC.

 

Two other points to consider:

 

1) ILS fequency may be updated at VATSIM according to the charts. However FSX would still use the old one. In the T7 menu you can choose which ones to use.

 

2) FCOMv2 (p. 311): "localizer captures when intercept track angle is within 120 degrees of localizer course"

 

That is all I have to offer.

 

Would be nice if you can post here your solution if it is one of the above or another,
