Defining quick views, can't set any external views

Recommended Posts

I am able to assign the cockpit, fmc, pedestal, overhead panel, etc to the built in quick view keys on the number pad, however I am able to move anywhere beyond the cockpit region. I would like to assign some external views, such as looking out the passenger seat to see the left/right wing on the 777 and such, but when trying to move about the plane, it restricts me from leaving the cockpit area.

Some planes have "hard" interiors that limit where your "head" (camera view) can go, others don't (like the default 747). I don't know if the 777 Professional product has an interior cabin view, if it does you should be able to enter it after opening the cockpit door, then move your camera to a passenger window.

For actual external views, e.g. camera at the tip of a wing or tail, you need to enter an actual external view mode first. Not all of them are Quickview compatible, but camera views positioned after using shift-4 (circle around), shift-6 (ride-along) and shift-8 (chase) should save as Quickviews

I was able to do this before, not sure why I can't now. I am using the FlightFactor (Ramzzess 777). Not sure how I managed to set the inside passenger wing views before.
