November 28, 201312 yr Hi, I believe to have read some posts where users are setting different camera views to different keys. What i would like to achieve is for example: keyboard number 1 button is assigned to main pilot view keyboard number 2 button is assigned to overhead keyboard number 3 button is assigned to FMC view keyboard number 4 button is assigned to Throttle quadrant.... Is this arrangement at all possible please...and the obvious question...how can I set ezdok in this way. thanks emann
November 28, 201312 yr Hi, The answer is yes to all.............the best way to help you is go to frooglesim - YouTube and type in the search box EZDOK..........all the setup information is there watch and listen.........I hope that helps.........
November 28, 201312 yr Author Hi and thanks, i have seen the video and understood better how to programme the various camera views....however there is no mention how to set key assignments....i am managing well to cycle through the cameras with A or Shift+A but what i am after is that if i know that i want to go to fmc view, i can hit say number 3 button on keyboard and switch directly to this camera. Maybe there are some other suggestions please. tks
November 28, 201312 yr Hi again, Have you got a flight yoke or joystick...........? you can assign any of the buttons on these to get ie:- FMC or any view you desire..................why use your keyboard............ Brian...
November 29, 201312 yr Author Hi, Yes I have the AETI yoke but all buttons are already configured for other commands and since I read that users are assigning the keyboard number buttons i was interested in achieving such a setup....up to now i did not manage this and I wonder how this can be done if at all now.... tks emann
November 29, 201312 yr I will try and cofigure my keyboard keys and I will get back to you..............The way you do it is first........Open flight sim put your aircraft on stand or on a runway and open EZDOK ...make a new camera and call it lets say FMC.......set up the view in fsx making sure to press the no 2 on your key pad to go into edit mode..set the view you require and if you look to the top right of EZDOK you will see Key board and Joy stick ...click on Key board it will go red..... press the key you want on your key board... exit edit mode........That should do it.I hope........It worked on mine.....good luck.........Brian. PS:----The numbers work as well...easy........don`t use the keypad numbers...EZDOK use`s all those.......
