Hey all, like Dillon in his post, I have noticed slowdowns over time with FS as well...but its not bad, lots of people would love to get the performance I get, I'm not griping, just curious. :-lol It got me to looking around, and well, I loaded msconfig to see what was loading on startup and I find what you see below...the boxes for characters part, which to me would be a language that cannot be displayed right? I wan't to know exactly what this is, so I looked where it was kept in the registry as you will see that below, but I cannot figure out what it is, so maybe there is someone here that could help me. Certainly doesnt like to nice, would also dump stylexp too as that can be a bit of a drag on a system.Do you regularly run spyware and virus checkers?Dan.

Yes, I do run AVG and AdAware/Spybot...usually the only thing those find is "dataminer" or something like that, I am clean as far as I know, at least thats what these programs are telling me. I was using Norton but was sick and tired of it ALL over the place.
