It's always nice to hear from another fan of photoreal scenery.  I chose this route because you don't often see scenery posted from it, and it encompasses everything from valley lowlands and farmland to alpine and volcanic scenery.  Mt. Shasta is such an amazing mountain because of the distances from which it can be viewed.  I think it's one of the most majestic peaks in the U.S.
