December 8, 201312 yr Hey guys, I'm having a question regarding the service based failures in the 777. Fortunately, we can set up a multiplier so that our planes should get failures sooner. However, if I set it to let's say 4, I need 4 hours of flying time to decrease my "next service in"-countdown by 1 (starting from 62h with a new airplane). That makes no sense to me as it makes nonsense of the multiplier... Can anyone clarify this for me? Furthermore, it seems to me that the 777LR and the 777F each have only one countdown no matter what livery you fly. Is this correct as it would be different from the NGX where every livery has its own countdown? Thanks in advance! Regards, Philipp
