Reverser Problems with Yoke & B737ngx

Hi Guys

could I seek some help. i'm using a Ch USB 3 lever yoke with my B737NGX but always nearly overshooting the rwy, my reversers kick-in too late, i have one button on yoke assigned to the reversers (decrease throttle quickly) and another for stowing the reversers (Cut Throttle) I have tried assigning reversers to the keyboard also, but little success, I wonder if

anyone else can think of another method I can use to improve the efficiency of the reversers?
