No elevator trim b737 -800

Featured Replies

New install of FSX and everything seems ok but I cannot get elevator trim on default B737 to work.I use buttons on my yoke .All other  planes it works OK.I do not see any AP settings that would do this. Thanks for any help.Ron

I have tested it using my trim control keys (up/down arrows) and it works fine.   Also, manually trimmed it using the mouse over the trim wheel and dragging it.   If still no joy, you may want to try allocating to another button on your yoke or assign a key.

Thanks for reply. It works on all other planes. When I go to 737 it will run nose down and back to takeoff, then freezes.Switch planes and come back to 737 and does same thing.Works once then freezes.AP is not on.No other AP switches are on.I have revised the aircraft and panel cfgs at some point.Maybe that caused it?I do have originals saved. Thanks for any follow up.Ron

Interesting problem.   Is it only the stab. trim that doesn't work or are there other anomalies on the 737?   If the other default aircraft are fine, then I would probably use the original aircraft and panel cfg files and see what happens.   Otherwise, a possible FSX repair option ahead of you, which hopefully will correct any missing/corrupt file.
