Snow won't "blow" by window at 170 knots?

Featured Replies

I'm flying an adventure in a snowstorm. I've used this same flight in FS2002 and everything looked correct. However, IN FS9, the snow changes from falling straight down to whipping by the window, continuously, back and forth (at 170 IAS). I tried recording 2 videos, to show you what I meant (one FS9, one with FRAPS). Now here's a "strange" thing...while recording a video with FS9 or FRAPS the snow behaves normally. As soon as I stop the recording ( especially noticeable with FRAPS and the "Hotkey" to stop recording) the snow goes back to it's strange, vertical, horizontal behavior. I would imagine at that speed it should be horizontal?? Anyone have a clue why this is happening? Needless to say I'm not posting a link to the videos...they don't show the problem at all (and why is that?). Your help or comments are always appreciated. Vic
