Just installed PMDG 777

when I start the simulation the virtual cockpit view shows (correctly)

But when I select Cockpit view (2-D) I see the runway on the top of the screen and a black box on the bottom half where I believe the instruments should load..

Any suggestions to get the instruments to load in this view.

go back to the virtual cockpit

 

The 777 doesn't come with a 2d cockpit. You can open popups using Ctrl+1 (and other numbers) or click on the relevant instruments in the virtual 3d cockpit.

That makes sense now and I was able to add the popups to the view.
