January 11, 201412 yr I bought this program last night. I put the file in the FSX folder and installed it per instructions. It did not put any files in the FSX folder that I recognize. Where else might they be? I booted FSX but I was unable to find anything there, either. My understanding is that Checklist Manager is a stand alone program, requiring only FSX to run. If that's not the case then I bought a program I can't use. Apprecciate your help. Wes
January 11, 201412 yr Hi Wes, Welcome to Avsim. Can you provide a link for the addon you talk of ? Cannot say I have heard of it. Hopefully, will be able to help you further once we have a look at the program you are asking about. Edit: Ok Wes, found it http://secure.simmarket.com/sea-checklist-manager-ngx.phtml The only thing I can suggest, is to e mail the author of CL NGX, e mail address is on the link above. I don't think many users have this addon, even I have not heard of it. Try the e mail, get back here if you have no joy. January 11, 201412 yr Author Emailing the program author is the first thing I did. Still waiting for a reply. The author's name is Michele Giandomenico. Or at least that's who finally emailed me the program. Followed your link to SEA site. Among other bits of info, it says one of the requirements to use CFM is PMDG or IFly 737. I don't have either one. Bummer. It also says the CFM program has been out since at least April 26, 2012. I'm also trying to download Plan G. That requires one to become a registered website member. I can't do that until Admin sends me email registration confirmation so I can get into the site. Usually this is knee-jerk automatic-immediate. Not this time. I'm still waiting.
January 11, 201412 yr I have made that mistake before, but later down the track if you decide to purchase the iFly or NGX, you can use it. PlanG is a great freeware addon. You should get your confirmation soon. January 15, 201412 yr Hye, Recently I've just purchased the PMDG 747-400X. There is a problem when I try to install the following. The installer says that " installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid FSX installation location." The reason behind these is that my FSX is installed in the E: drive in my computer but not in C: Program files. So is there anyway I can continue this installation or the product was just a waste of money. PLZ Advise
January 26, 201412 yr Sorry I did not see your post of the 15th, as you have not started a new thread, I did not see it. I would say your problem is sorted now ? If you ever need help, start a "New" post with your question, and it will be seen. All the best.
