As there is no 2D window support for the throttle quadrant in PMDG737NGX, it requires "mouse look" to check the trim value. Is there some workaround or add-on program that can show this value in some kind of window?

I had the same problem. My work around was to plug in a wired game pad. I use the pad for quick swithing between 2d and 3d snd all the varous panels. All the buttons on my joystick are all for flaps and trims and what not. I think it works very well now.
