This airport is vital to people who do trans Atlantic flying. It is a life station to aircraft in distress. It played a role in helping commercial aircraft during 9/11. If the NATO countries continue to move out because of the high cost the government is placing on them, in a back room scheme to have them all move to Cold Lake the people and the communities will become all but gone.
