MS just released a BETA Spyware utility but when I invoke FSAutostart to stop and restart the MS utility all hell breaks out.I get a FSAutostart error and it stops running. Is there a way around this since I deleted the MS utiltiy until this gets sorted out.Andy

Manually stop the utility prior to running FSAutostart. -John

I did that but I decided in the long haul any beta brogram from MS might do more harm than good so I just axed it.ThanksAndy

It's a good rule to never run ANY beta software if you can't afford to have to reinstall the system.No need to slash at Microsoft, that just makes you look stupid.There's a reason beta software is created, and that's to find whether the software has unintended consequences when run on unexpected configurations as well as to have more eyes look at it and use the software in ways the creators may not have envisioned.
