January 8, 200521 yr After having my share in CTDs am days of testing last autumn, I must say that scenery.cfg is one of the most critical files which can extremely easily cause a CTD.Important is what is in scenery.cfg. Of course, the content should be reasonable (i.e. proper numbering and such). But, I have the impression that there are some characters or character sequences FS9 doesn't like at all.E.g. I tried to install R. Taburets San Francisco photoreal (which, by the way, only gives me a dark gray surface, so I deleted it again). I did this by adding the scenery with FS9's built-in scenery configurator. Then I checked by running FS - everything OK.Then I copied and pasted (via Windows clipboard) two exclude= lines to the scenery.cfg file (I used notepad for this).Ran FS9 again, and voil Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. Respice, lector: In nihil ab nihilo quam cito recidimus.
