Installing HTAI Package

Featured Replies

As a neebie, I need some advice please. How do install the HTAI Cessna package into FSX?.

There's a post here about it:

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?21372-HTAI-AI-Cessna-Package&p=234408&viewfull=1#post234408

Copying to your SimObjects\Airplanes folder will clutter it up with AI planes, so instead you can edit your FSX.cfg and add another SimObjectsPaths entry pointing to the folder with the HTAI planes, for example if your last SimObjectsPaths entry is SimObjectsPaths.5=...,  and your HTAI planes are in C:\HTAI\Aircraft, then add an entry like this:

SimObjectsPaths.6="C:\HTAI\Aircraft"

That will tell FSX about the new HTAI\Aircraft folder and to look there for additional aircraft models.

I recommend using AIFP to convert the FS9 schedules to FSX format: http://stuff4fs.com/newpage.asp?Folder=AIFP, or you can use it to make new schedules.

EDIT: See here in case you have black prop disks: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?204361-HP67-black-prop-discs&p=1378369#post1378369

You can get DXTBmp here: http://www.mwgfx.co.uk/index.htm
