System freeze when opening FS2K4 flightplan program

Featured Replies

Up until recently, FS2K4 was working excellent. When I select the Flightplan option from the File menu, the option opens but my system freezes. I can move the move the mouse, but I'm no longer able to select any options (destination, etc). No new software has been installed. Any ideas to what might cause this. Thanks!

Is anyone out there able to offer some suggestions? Please help - the last thing I want to do is have to completely reinstall FS2K4 and all my aricraft and scenery.

Only suggestion I can make...Rename fs9.cfg to fs9.oldStart FS9, a new cfg with all the default cfg settings will be builtTry to access the flightplan menuIf this does work, you'll have to restore your fs9 settings, but add-ons won't be hurt.If it doesn't work, you can delete fs9.cfg and rename the one you named to fs9.old back to fs9.cfg FS9 will be restored with its old settings, although you'll have to wait for someone to offer another suggestion.-John
