Hi.

I've just done a complete system reinstall, and after installing OpusFXS I'm not able to start FSXSERVER.exe. I'm receiving this error:

 

I've tried to install Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0, but the installer says that this is already a part of my OS (W7).

 

Could you please provide me som help?

Try upgrading windows since this fixed the problem for someone else.

You should check our FAQs for the solution.

You should try updating Windows, installing SimConnect using our msi, if that doesn't help uninstall .net and reinstall the latest .net framework, that should give you versions 2 and 4.

Do update your Windows as you could have a missing or corrupt .net component.

I'm just re-installing on a new Win 8.1 PC with P3dV2 and get the same error as OP.  I have .NET 4.5 (which is built into Win * I think), and I am current with all my windows updates.  Any ideas?

Apologies - Please disregard - a re-install of SIMCONNECT from the MSI in the OPUS folder seems to have done the trick for me!
