Being an auto racer, I tend to follow those that design race cars (Adrian Newey, John Barnard, Ross Brawn, etc.) ... and this young guy David Algie (ok, semi-young, it's all relative):

His work is amazing!  385 mph @ 14.5 gph!  Wow, that's impressive.
