January 28, 200521 yr I recently noticed that I have bgl files with names starting with "de", "dem" and "dw" in my SceneryWorldTexture directory. Is this normal or is it an indication that something is off kilter in my file/directory configuration? I realize that non-image files in a texture directory will most likely be ignored by fs9 and not cause a catastrophic failure but what caused them to be written there in the first place? I know I didn't add them manually so they have to be from an installer. Maybe this is a normal occurrence for installers that add mesh or something but if so, I've never noticed it before. Any suggestions?Stan V.
January 28, 200521 yr Author BGL files should indeed go into the Scenery subfolder. In fact, the SceneryWorldScenery folder contains several files like the ones you mentioned, starting with dw, dem and de. The texture folder should only contain .bmp and .agn files. -
