January 30, 200521 yr Just landed at Singapore's Changi (WSSS) airport flying the Posky 747-400 and it's as though I've touched down on a deeply corrugated dirt road! The wheels are bouncing severly, causing the wings to flap alarmingly. Is this normal for that airport? If not, is there a fix as I intend to use this airport regularly.Marty
October 1, 200520 yr Same problem here. Don't know what's causing it. Default scenery. Was flying from Heathrow, 12 hours logged flight on BAV ACARS, crashed and lost all 12 hours. Pain. Big pain. But tried landing again, and touching smoother with the front wheel. Success.
October 1, 200520 yr I think that problem is mostly to do with runways that have bitumus ground rather then concrete and asphalt. You can use AFCAD2 to change the runway material to those and that should clear the problem.
October 2, 200520 yr Funny you say that, I *just now* discovered that thing myself! :-) But thanks for the tip anyway!
