  1. You said that when you installed the patch your entire ORBX folder got deleted. You now claim that rebooting your computer restored your entire ORBX folder. Rebooting would not bring back the ORBX folder once it is deleted. Your ORBX folder was deleted after you installed the patch. That has only happened to people who have a pirated version of FTXG.

  5. I suggest you install it if you haven't done so and test it for yourself. No harm in that especially if it means you can now use PNW due to your poor performance over large cities.
  6. If you haven't installed the FTX day night switcher then I recommend you try it out in PNW as it will boost performance in Seattle, Portland, Vancouver etc.http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/38204-public-beta--can-double-your-fps/JV said:"We've decided to heed customer feedback, and in a similar vein to how Ultimate Terrain X can disable its night lighting effects, we have tested some simple ways to disable the FTX lights and found substantial performance gains in city and urban areas, particularly places like Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Sydney and Melbourne."
  7. >My locale was building 'M' or EDP1, now dead and buried. I>agree that Campbell Park was ugly especially inside. I always>thought of it as the "Concrete Jungle". However ugly it is, it>is very relevant to YSCB where I did my GA training and>climbed out over Campbell Park on more occasions than I care>to remember, there could be a nasty rotor over that hill too.>Campbell Park is not in the the ORBX scenery either yet>"Manuka Oval" is now a great stadium according to ORBX. The>mind boggles.>>:-lol Hi, I've gotta set the record straight for the ORBX FTX scenery of Canberra. Firstly, I live in Canberra so I am very interested in the scenery here. Also, I did the FTX landclass for Canberra so I know exactly what is and isn't included in the scenery.:-)The landmarks and major buildings you see in Canberra such as Old & New Parliament House, National Gallery, High Court, Captain Cook Water Jet, Carrilion, etc), are all default FSX, including Manuka Oval. Not a bad effort by MS for a small city a looong way from the USA!I recall that VOZ's FS9 version of Canberra had a model of the Australian-American War Memorial, as well as Campbell Park. I'll look into seeing if someone over at OzX is able or interested in porting them over to FSX.Cheers,Martin
  8. Just landed at Singapore's Changi (WSSS) airport flying the Posky 747-400 and it's as though I've touched down on a deeply corrugated dirt road! The wheels are bouncing severly, causing the wings to flap alarmingly. Is this normal for that airport? If not, is there a fix as I intend to use this airport regularly.Marty
