Real Air C172 questions(upgrade for default c172)?

Featured Replies

I Got the upgrade for the default fs2004 c172 by realair and I used the flight model based cfg entries and the air file for my carenado c172n, anyways it seems to spin and slip realistically in my opinion but I have never done either myself because I have only got about an hour of flight time in a real c172, and it took a surprisingly small amount of rudder to keep the airplane coordinated. But I have noticed that it takes a ridiculous amount of rudder to stay coordinated in a turn with realairs flight model and is hard to keep coordinated, which seems  very unrealistic. I use saitek cessna pro flight rudder pedals so my rudder control in the sim is not an issue. Is their a way to make this aspect of the flight model more realistic but not affect its spin/stall characteristics, because I increased the rudder effectiveness in the cfg but it messed up its spin behavior so I had to return it to its original number, It seems like they had to sacrifice this aspect to make it spin realistically but then their is realairs citabria/scout/decathalon and though they take a little more rudder than most aircraft (not near as much as the realair c172) they stay coordinated in a turn very easily and spin properly, also carenados c337 takes a very small and realistic amount of rudder to stay coordinated in a turn (defiantly carenados best aircraft and flight model they have ever made for fs9 and is a pleasure to fly) Anyways, It takes way to much concentration to keep the dang thing coordinated so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
