First Flight Problems / Walkthrough

Hi. I've never done a flight on VATSIM, and am eager to connect for the first time. I spawned in (at a gate), already having watched YouTube videos on how to do it. I have MyTraffic. However, when I connected, there was tons of AI Traffic. FSInn showed a VATSIM plane nearby, which I couldn't see because of the AI Traffic. Does anyone know a solution to this? Moreover, would anyone be so kind as to walk me through my first flight?

You may want to consider looking into a VATSIM Authorized Training Organization (ATO). They can give you the tools and training you require to help you get started flying on VATSIM.
