Yea, guess what, these two can be merged. I just did it. Early results are very nice. The merge is NOT endorsed by either Lago or MDMax and I only reported it on the MDMax site. Nevertheless, having bought both at almost $80.00 US, I wanted to try! I also tried to add the FS9 GPS to try and get some kind of automatic GPS system into the MDMax, but no go! If anyone else trys this and succeeds, let us who may be interested know! IF anyone wants to know other details, just ask!Hint: merge only the NON-VC version of the MD80, I had CTDs with the VC version, but then I don't think I made all the proper aircraft.cfg alterations. Hi Randy,Can you offer a comparison of the Lago and MDMax panels? Forgetting about non-working FMC's and textures missing which will no doubt be fixed.Maybe you already have done so, by indicating that you have merged the MD panel with the LAGO model. :)Thanks, Bruce.

IMHO, the MDMax is superior both in function and look. They are actually virtually identical actually, but MDMax's work is snazzier, more panel/gauge lighting and a nifty pax/boarding module. The flight model may be a little better, but not by much.Randy Jura, KPDX

At present the merge causes a lot of CTDs at unexpected times, can't say that I'm surprised. I wouldn't presently recommend it.Randy Jura, KPDX

And that works just excellent, provided that you fly with the "HDG/SEL" in the annunciator,until we will get the FMS. If you can not find it here on AVSIM, you find it at Alains webpage, http://www.acsoft.ch.You have to know about panel editing, inorder to be able to implement the gauge. Hi,The only thing I have done is to merge with the MD80 from FS Painter. I know that it is a AI model, but it is far better than the FS default 3d model which comes with the MD Max panel. :-)I guess I can merge with SGA

How did you handle merging landing and taxi lights? I've merged the MDMax panel with the SGA model and it works great other than the landing/nose lights.
