FS2004 will not start after a reformatting . Need your ...

After reformating my HD (60 gigas) I have done three clean installs of FS 2004 and the darn thing will not complete the start up. While I am still in the initial screen I get a message that reads:"Aircraft Initialization Failure Boeing 737-400 Paint5"The message has a buttom (Close) that stops the startup.I even took the B737-400 from the aircraft folder in one of the start ups but got the same message. There are only 4 texture paints (1 to 4) plus the plain texture for flightsim=0. So I guess that makes 5.Could someone give me a suggestion of how to solve this problem? So that I can Fly again?I must indicate that I have done previous reformating of HD "C" and never had problem with the Simulator after the reformating. My Gear:Alienware Area 51M Laptop Intel P4 3.4 2x60 Gigas 7200 rpm HD's,Graphic card ATI 9700 Pro 128 on board,1Giga ram.Edmundo CardenasCaracas, Venezuela ( Now in Decatur Georgia !)
Proud pilot of [link:http://flymeridian.com]Meridian Airline][/b

That was very weird? And the installation process goes through completely without error messages? Am I correct that you are installing FS9 on the harddrive you reformatted?

Yes I am reinstalling on the reformated drive C (winXP Professional SP2).I did get some error messages about not having enough memory for the install. I solved this shutting down, and re starting and disconnecting the antivirus and internet conection.Edmundo Cardenas
