Mouse Cursor does not hide?

Featured Replies

I seem to remember that after a while in FS2004 the mouse cursor would go into "Hide" mode & disappear from the screen. This no longer seems to happen & am at a loss as to why. I have a LogitechMX700 IR Mouse. If anyone can advise me on this I would be very grateful.

I hear you. When I go into spot mode it's kind of ugly having a mouse cursor right in front of your face. I usually move it off to the side, but sometimes forget, so it's right there. Hmmmm, in view options I wonder if you can turn mouse off? I'll check. And I'll watch this post too. Good luck!!billg

Yea me too! I like taking screenshots and many a time I have to re-take the shot cuz there was a mouse cursor sitting on the wing! What I do now while siming is to just push the cursor upto the menu bar and leave it there...after 20 secs or so it becomes invisible until the mouse is moved again.

"(...) after 20 secs or so it becomes invisible (...)"Well, that seems to be exactly the point: this does not happen on Mattius's rig! So there's definitely something odd going on there.Be well!Jaap Verduijn.

:)The option to "Hide mouse pointer while typing" is enabled for me - Im not sure if that effects the sim tho...seems to work for me.If u wanna try it: Control Panel-->Mouse-->Pointer Options. Check the box!
