February 10, 200521 yr I was facing a serious problem with FS9.1 refusing to disconnect from MultiPlay sessions (self hosted or external). When selecting to disconnect FS would freeze and only ending the program via task manager would solve the problem. After thorough searching I started uninstalling stuff.First it was ActiveCamera but that did not change anything. Then I uninstalled VisualFlight's London VFR scenery http://www.visualflight.co.uk/ which included some dynamic features like boats sailing up and down river Thames. When I did this I was later able to leave MP sessions without FS freezing. If you wish you can reply in the relevant thread of the MP forum.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=71&mesg_id=71Anyone else with complex scenery that had problems in disconnecting from MP sessions ?Kyprianos Biris :-cool Hellenic vACC - Olympic Aegean Virtual Prepar3D 5.3 | CPU i9 10900K | VGA: RTX 3070 | RAM: 32GB DDR4 | Monitor: 3440x1440
June 9, 200520 yr KyprianosI don't recall whether you brought this up on the Visual Flight London support forum, but in fact uninstalling Visual Flight London should not have been necessary, whatever the problem with the multiplayer disconnection. The AI River Traffic is actually the Marine Scene freeware package, included in Visual Flight London by kind permission of Shep who put the package together, and the various contributors. As such, it is completely optional to install or not, and is also easily uninstalled separately, either by uninstalling and re-installing Visual Flight London without AI River Traffic selected, or by removing or renaming the two MarineScene BGL files in the main Visual Flight London scenery folder. As I don't seem to be able to access the forum discussion you've linked to, I'm not sure if you got this resolved in the end. I'd be interested to know. Did you try contacting Shep in case he could throw any light on it? (Shep is a frequent visitor to the Visual Flight Forums, or you can find his contact details in the MarineScene read me).JohnVisual Flighthttp://www.visualflight.net[a href=http://www.visualflight.net/london/]http://www.visualflight.net/london/images/signature.jpg[/a]
