Reverse thrust working but not animating?

Featured Replies

When landing, the reverse thrusts are working in that they are helping slowing the a/c down, but when looked at from the outside view, the engines are doing nothing. Surely the rear outer casing of the engines should be moving backwards?

Hi Shaun,

Are other animations working, the outboard flaps for example?  Do you have "advanced animations" checked?

Yup, everything else is working well, just the reverse thrusts. Oh and occasionally the fuselage seems to disappear so all you can see is the seats in the cabin and the engine fan blades. Im guessing thats just FSX having issues though :)

If the fuselage is disappearing for more than a second or so when you switch to external view, then there is a problem.  Did you follow the suggestion about the highmemfix and other fixes in the introductory manual, beginning on page 13?
