May 29, 201412 yr Guys, I have been experimenting with the airspeed control function. It works fairly well. I have noticed that when doing an ILS approach you can control your airspeed until you intercept the glide slope. Once that happens the system will continue to control your airspeed but you cannot change it. No adjustment is possible. I have found that if I set the speed to 100 I will get a nice approach with good airspeed control through your gear and flap changes. Once on short final autopilot and airspeed control off, back on the throttle, ease back and and you get a nice arrival every time. Very cool!
